Frequently asked questions
How does it work?
BlastWeb has two buttons. LED turns on the red taillight and LD turns on the laser, which projects a red pattern on the road behind your bike. Each has 4 modes, and you can use them alone or together.
How do I install it?
Wrap the silicone strap around your seat post or handlebar and clip the light into the mount. No tools needed. You can adjust the angle to aim the laser.
Will it fit my bike?
The adjustable strap fits most seat posts and handlebars, including road, city and mountain bikes.
How do I charge it?
It has a built-in rechargeable battery. Open the rubber cover and plug in the included USB cable.
Can I ride in the rain?
Yes. BlastWeb is water-resistant (IPX5) with a sealed charging port, so rain and splashes are fine. Do not submerge it in water.
When is the laser most visible?
The laser pattern stands out most at dusk and at night. Its look on the ground can vary with the road surface and lighting.
Is the laser safe?
Use it as a bike light only. Never point the laser at people, animals or drivers, and never look directly into it.
